What is included in the home study preparation kit? |

The Home study preparation kit includes 3 audio CDs (60hrs of lecture) in MP3 format, recording of our live review course and our study material which has been provided to respective live review course attendees.

What is an MP3 File? |
| |
An MP3 File is an audio encoding format. Simply put it allows the creator of the file to deliver their audio content in a reduced data quantity.
|

How do I play the File? |
| |
To play the Premier Review audio files simply insert the CD into your laptop/PC and the computer should automatically bring up a window which gives you the options to either play the file with a specific program or open and view the files. If however the player doesn't automatically open a box then please follow these simple steps. (Image 1)
- Go to my computer and double click on the icon which shows your CD/DVD player.
- Double click on the specific MP3 lecture you would like to listen to.
- This should open the file in the default audio program you have set on your system. (i.e. Windows Media Player, Real Video)
- If however the above doesn't work then please refer to the bottom of the page for links to the most common players for specific devices and operating systems.
If you have multiple software players on your system and would like to open it with a specific program each time then follow these steps. (Image 2)
- Go to My Computer and double click the drive that shows the CD/DVD.
- This should open a folder which shows the MP3 files.
- Right click on any of the files. Move your mouse down to where it says OPEN WITH.
- Select choose program. Choose the program you would like to use as your default player and click on the box that says "always use the selected program to open this file type."
- This will then tell your computer to open that program each time an MP3 file is recognized on your computer whether it is CD/DVD/Hard disk.

When I click on the file it says, Windows cannot open this file? |

This error message most likely means that you do not have a compatible MP3 file player on your system. Go to the bottom of this page and download the correct MP3 Software for your operating system or device or find the program on your computer system. (Image 3)

Is the MP3 file compatible with MACS and PC's? |
| |
Yes. The MP3 file is compatible with both MACS and PC's. Again, you can go to the bottom of this FAQs page to download the right Software for your operating system.

What operating system is needed to run the MP3 file format? |

The MP3 file format will play on Windows 98, XP, Vista and MAC-OS. The MP3 file is a versatile format compatible with the operating system given the correct MP3 player software is on the system.

Are there different players for these files? |
| |
There are quite a few different types of free software that will play these files. If you don't already have a player installed on your system then please go to the end of this FAQs page for the most common MP3 audio players. Most systems will have either Real Player or Microsoft Media Player. These files will play with these programs.

Where can I download the MP3 Player? |

Do I have to be on the Internet to play the audio file (MP3)? |

No. You do not have to have an internet connection to play these files.

Can I convert the MP3 file to a regular audio file? |
| |
Yes. Depending on the player that you have the MP3 CD can be converted into an audio file which can be played on a standard CD player. Note however that the MP3 format is a condensed format that takes up a lot less space on your hard drive. To convert all of Premier Review's files to an audio CD it will require multiple CDs.

Can I listen to the MP3 file on my DVD player? |

Yes & No. Certain DVD players have the ability to play MP3 audio files. If you do not have an MP3 CD player and you have a standard audio CD player then you will not be able to play these CDs in your DVD player.

Do I have to have the CD in my computer to play the file? |
| |
To have the maximum benefit of the home study kit, we strongly recommend you to listen these MP3 Audio CDs in your computer and create a class room in your living room. The benefit of the MP3 file is the size and the portability. Simply put the CD in the computer and if using Windows XP go to Start à My Computer à Double click on your CD-Drive or DVD-drive. This will open the drive contents. Go to Edit à Select All à Edit à Copy à Now create a folder on your computer where you want to save these files à once you create this folder open the folder you created à go to Edit and Paste. The MP3 files will then be backed up onto your system for use anytime without having to insert the CD each time. You will most likely need about 2 gigabytes of space on your system to accommodate the size of all the files.

Can I listen to Premier Review in my Car? |

Yes & No. In most cars you will not be able to listen to the files. If your car has an Audio/MP3 CD player then you have the ability to listen to the CD.

Can I listen to the Premier Review MP3 files in my portable CD player? |

Yes & No. In most CD players you will not be able to listen to the files. If your CD player has an Audio/MP3 CD player then you have the ability to listen to the CD.

Can I listen to the MP3 files on my PDA, I-POD or Cellular Phone? |
| |
Yes. Depending on your PDA (personal digital assistant) you can transfer these MP3 files to your device. Again, depending on the operating system running on your PDA (Palm, Windows) you will have to download the compatible software player. These files are compatible with almost any MP3 player and will play on a cell phone with MP3 functionality.

How many hours is each MP3 file? |

The files range from about 1hr 45min to 6.5hrs each.

How many megabytes is each file? |
| |
The files range from 32 MB to 168 MB each. Depending on the number of files in your home study kit it is recommended that you have at least a 2 gigabyte card on your PDA or Portable MP3 Player to fit all the audio files on the device. If copying to your computer system you will need about 2 gigabytes available space to accommodate the entire home study kit on your hard drive.

How long will it take me to listen to these audio CDs? |

The answer to this question will depend on the level of focus and discipline you have. The complete course contains 60 hours of audio, however you may want to stop, review or move forward. The home study kit allows the user to go at their pace although it is advised that you complete the lecture series in such a time that the information is fresh in your memory and you can review it a number of times prior to your exam.

The home study kit is an exact replica of our Live Review Course depending on which session you choose. The home study kit has been used by many people who have had great success due to its flexibility and availability.
